Cyclops

Because I have a relatively light week freelance-wise, I decided to do a quick personal piece today. Part of my New Year's resolution has been to do one personal piece a week. Better late than never.

Enjoy...

Valentine Ep. 3 on Robot Comics

I'm a little behind on this update, but valentine episode 3 is now available through Robot Comics for iPhone, Droid and iTunes downloads. 99 cents/issue is quite the deal!

Shrek

Finally I can let folks know that I'm working on this: EXCLUSIVE: Ape Entertainment Brings Dreamworks To Comics (CBR News)

Unfortunately, I won't be able to post any sketches or art until books hit shelves, but here is what was released (pencils and inks by me, colors by Tim Durning)

Fresh Ink

Save a few that I may post in my blog, no one will ever see Valentine's original inks, since the episodes are in color. I'm especially happy with episode 4, which I'm currently working on. It has to be my favorite to date, but we'll see if I still feel that way in 8 days when I finish inking it.

The inks are relatively small, about 8x11, but considering they're to be displayed on an iPhone or Driod, they're rather large in relation to the finish. There's also about 67-70 of these bad boys for me to get done for each episode, so I can't get too crazy. In any case, here are some inked screens with details, for my fellow b&w hounds out there. It's an under appreciated production choice, if you ask me.
