Every once in a while I make some time to do a pencil drawing. This is a Christmas present, so it was a good excuse for me to break out the pencils and Norse gods.

Concept

Sometimes you do stuff that just doesn't make the final cut. The folks who commissioned this decided on going with a different artistic style, but I was still pretty pleased with it.

Can't say that I get mad when folks pass me by for a different art style (it sort of is what it is, ya know?), especially when I am pleased with what I put out. Just another piece for the ol' portfolio. (And now I can post it :D)

I tried something a little different inking wise with this, and was really happy with it (even though it took FOREVER with all those little dashes).
