I recently finished a piece for the upcoming Babes Booze & Tattoos Sailor Jerry Tribute Show to be held at Jinxed Philadelphia Gallery in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. Sailor Jerry is one of my favorite rums, so this was a really great invite to get.
I really wanted to do something that would be unique to the show, so I created this original art with ink on wood. The color ink stained the wood, which gave it a lovely glazed look once it was varnished. It came out really nice, so I plan on doing more paintings like this in the future...
