A few months ago I was contacted by the folks at Elmwood Park Zoo to illustrate the poster and t-shirt for their annual Zoo Snooze.
It all starts with the sketches...
I was really glad they chose the first sketch with the sleeping animals. It was my favorite :)
Then the inking...
After the ink was done and scanned, I couldn't help thinking that the buffalo looked a lot like a giant sheep :/ So I redid his head and cobbled the ink in photoshop.
Now for the colors and type!

I would like to thank the folks at the Elmwood Park Zoo for this great opportunity. This job was a real pleasure. I love drawing animals.
