At that place that I work we have been working on a number of pieces that will display at The Walnut Room along with local photographer Kelly Turso. Not all of my final designs made the cut, so here are the sad rejects...
Art 100% vector created by me, except for those griffins which I found in a free vector folder.
The line art for this piece was done in illustrator (vector). Flat coloring and halftones accomplished in photoshop. Shunga art in bg found on google (created before 1900, so it's royalty free).
Don't know when the show is happening yet. I'll make with the posting when I am more in the know.
Here's a writeup I rec'd in the City Paper (a free, city-wide distributed rag) for my March show. They even put a little picture of Hercules vs. The Astro Zombies up in there. This made my day today :)
Did some illustration and design for a marijuana themed card game that is putting an ad in Aura Magazine. I'm not really into that sort of thing, but illustrating and designing for that particular market is always fun. It hearkens back to the days when I worked as a designer for a tobacco wholesaler. Memories.
